Oh man what can I say that I haven't already said about editing? I still am. And it's still slow. But I'm getting there! im down 12 chapters and have 16 more to go. And I have plans to finish in 2.5 weeks with a chapter a day.
I've said it before, but I swear I mean it this time. I'll finish in February!
On the upside I participated in the last twitter pitch party #AdPit this week and got a few requests! I sent out queries immediately and already got one response (that makes two official rejections for Darkness).
Speaking of rejections I've printed all of mine out (9) and put them in my writing binder. Eventually I'll print my excel spread sheets that also include the unanswered queries.
Instead of beind depressing this actually was motivating. It proved I've been trying. It showed me my manuscripts have actually been read. And there are nice comments too. It made me want to query more.
That's what helped spur me to edit faster! I joined an activity, #FebNo (a February version of NaNo which I'm using to edit a whole novel instead of write like the others participating). And I WILL finish my edits ASAP!
Write on :)
